Orange Mini Hibiscus, scientifically known as Hibiscus hirtus, is a delicate and rare perennial shrub prized for its dainty, five-petaled blooms. Known regionally as Nitya Malli or Adavi Ganneru in Telugu, Kattupiratti in Tamil, and Lesser Mallow in English, this variety is unique for its small, vibrant orange flowers that bloom almost daily. These seeds have been hand-tested in my garden to ensure they produce the classic "wild" beauty that attracts butterflies and pollinators. Unlike the large hybrid hibiscus, the Mini Hibiscus is hardy, pest-resistant, and maintains a compact size, making it the perfect choice for hobby gardeners with limited balcony space. Its low-maintenance nature and constant flowering cycle bring a steady sense of peace and color to any Indian home garden.
